General Info
- Location: Ossau Valley (Col du Pourtalet, Gourette) or Aspe Valley (Col du Somport, La Pierre Saint Martin), conditions permitting.
- December to April, depending on snow conditions
- 3 to 5 hours on skis
Equipment to be provided
Please bring your own equipment: If you don't have all the necessary equipment, you can rent it from LOCASKI in Laruns
- Ski touring
- Ski touring boots
- Sealskins and knives
- ski gloves and socks
- Backpack 30-40 litres with :
- waterproof / windproof jacket + fleece
- Sunglasses / sun cream
- Water bottle (3 l/pers.)
- Picnic, biscuit / cereal bar style snacks
Please allow for your safety equipment : If you do not have all the necessary equipment, the guide may be able to provide it.

Levels / Difficulties
Know how to ski on red or black runs and have already done some ski touring
The guide will take you to an area suitable for your level!
Conditions
- You'll need to be comfortable on red and even black ski runs, be at ease on all types of snow and have done some ski touring.
- You will need to be in good general physical condition to enjoy your day.
- Minimum age 14 if accompanied by an adult during the outing
Framing
The activity is supervised by a mountain guide, a partner member of Aventure Chlorophylle.
Maximum 8 participants per day of ski touring.

Who is it for?
This is aimed at skiers who have already tried ski touring and want to discover new snowy slopes in complete safety. Alpine skiing is a prerequisite, be at ease on red or even black runs and have already done some ski touring.
You also need to be fit enough to tackle the climb(s), which can range from 800 to 1500m of ascent (3 to 5 hours) on skis to fully enjoy the day.
