Ski touring in the Pyrenees
You already practice ski touring occasionally or regularly and would like to immerse yourself in the mountain environment in winter? Accompanied by a mountain guide, we offer you the chance to spend 2 or 3 days in the mountains. As a family, with friends or as a couple, you'll set off on skis to discover landscapes covered in a magnificent blanket of white. You will sleep choice of unguarded cabin for greater rusticity or in refuge guarded for added comfort. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to spot some isards?
This 2 or 3-day weekend is to be built together so that it will live long in the memory.

General Info
- Location: Ossau Valley (Col du Pourtalet, Gourette) or Aspe Valley (Col du Somport, La Pierre Saint Martin), conditions permitting.
- December to April, depending on snow conditions
- 2 to 3 days, overnight stay in an unguarded hut or a guarded refuge (at your own expense if guarded)
Equipment to be provided
Please bring your own equipment: If you don't have all the necessary equipment, you can rent it from LOCASKI in Laruns
- Ski touring
- Ski touring boots
- Sealskins and knives
- ski gloves and socks
- Backpack 30-40 litres with :
- waterproof / windproof jacket + fleece
- Sunglasses / sun cream
- Water bottle (3 l/pers.)
- Picnic, biscuit / cereal bar style snacks
Please allow for your safety equipment : If you do not have all the necessary equipment, the guide may be able to provide it.

Levels / Difficulties
Know how to ski on red or black runs and have already done some ski touring
The guide will take you to an area suitable for your level!
Conditions
- You'll need to be comfortable on red and even black ski runs, be at ease on all types of snow and have done some ski touring.
- You will need to be in good general physical condition to enjoy your day.
- Minimum age 14 if accompanied by an adult during the outing
Framing
- The activity is supervised by a mountain guide, a partner member of Aventure Chlorophylle.
- Maximum 6 participants per day of ski touring.
- The price does not include accommodation in a guarded refuge.

Who is it for?
This is aimed at skiers who have already tried ski touring and want to spend 2/3 days immersed in the mountains. You must already have some experience of downhill skiing, be at ease on red or even black runs and have already done some ski touring.
You also need to be in good physical shape to make the most of these immersive ski touring days.
