The booking stage of your canyoning activity:<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

A reservation is required<\/strong> (as for the other activities) by telephone, e-mail or directly online to guarantee your places but also because the guides limit the number of participants<\/strong> for a quality service<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

- At the time of booking, we send you 2 emails:<\/span><\/p>\n

The first e-mail,<\/strong> is a breakdown of the activity with all the important information<\/strong> of the output (meeting place and time<\/a>We recommend that you read it in full and do not delete it.<\/span><\/p>\n

N.B.<\/em> : The meeting place indicated in the email with the Google maps point is a car park near the canyon but it is not our office so if you don't know where the meeting place is, call us!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The second e-mail<\/strong> is a request for measurements to be completed<\/strong> because the guide will provide you with a neoprene wetsuit (jacket + overalls), harness, helmet and neoprene socks to slip into your own shoes<\/span><\/p>\n

Payment:<\/strong>If you book online, you must pay in full directly by credit card. If you book by telephone or e-mail, a payment link will be sent to you so that you can pay by credit card either in full or a deposit of 50%.<\/p>\n

To confirm your booking, a minimum deposit is required.<\/strong> of 50 % is mandatory<\/strong>Thank you for your understanding. For the balance of payment on site, please bring cheques, holiday vouchers or cash (the guides do not have an Eftpos terminal for credit cards).<\/p>\n

Equipment required for canyoning<\/h2>\n

Swimming costume and towel<\/strong> (to dry off when returning to the vehicle)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Water and cereal bars<\/strong> and the picnic<\/strong> if you have booked a full day of canyoning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shoes for canyoning:<\/em> \u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>A pair of lace-up sports shoes (tennis shoes, trainers, hiking shoes)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Beware of old shoes from the back of the cupboard that come unstuck when they come into contact with water. With the dried glue of the shoe, the sole can come off during the course and we let you imagine what happens next ...<\/span><\/p>\n

Shoes to avoid when canyoning: water shoes, sneakers, city shoes, fivefingers, heels (we're not kidding, you never know!)<\/em>)<\/span><\/p>\n

Canyoning equipment provided by the guide:<\/strong> helmet, neoprene wetsuit, neoprene socks (to be slipped into your shoes), harness, ropes, rucksack, waterproof water bottle .<\/p>\n

Accountability and the environment<\/h2>\n

– Remove the label from the water bottle<\/strong> to avoid finding the labels in the water later on<\/span><\/p>\n

- Follow the guide's route and don't trample everywhere<\/strong> to keep the canyon's flora and fauna intact!
<\/span><\/p>\n

– No peeing in combis<\/strong> even though they are cleaned every day, we wash them by hand... thank you in advance for your understanding!
<\/span><\/p>\n

- For picnics, if you are on a 2 canyons adventure day, i.e. with a meal break between the 2 canyons, Your picnic will remain in your vehicle, so don't forget to leave any waste and packaging in it after your meal.<\/strong>.
<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have chosen a day with a picnic in the canyon (1-day Oxygen canyon, 1-day Adventure canyon and 1-day Envergure canyon), remember to bring food that can be easily transported in a watertight container that your guide will lend you. Take a bag to keep your empty packaging during the descent and dispose of it in a bin at the end of the day.<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

What's my level of canyoning?<\/h2>\n

The difficulty of canyoning is the evolution on slippery ground with obstacles to cross.<\/em><\/p>\n

Oxygen<\/strong> (all audiences) = be able to walk for 2 hours on chaotic ground.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Adventure<\/strong> (resourceful) = have good physical stamina and be able to do 3m jumps without apprehension.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Span<\/strong> (experienced) = have experience in canyoning, be comfortable on small jumps requiring aiming, be comfortable with height for abseiling.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Canyoning, even in the \"all public\" formula, remains a physical and sporting activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is imperative to know how to swim!<\/span><\/p>\n

The guide will ask you this question on the spot too!<\/span><\/p>\n

We do not recommend canyoning for women.<\/strong> speakers<\/strong> because we cannot guarantee that there will be no falls<\/strong>. You'll be travelling through a potentially slippery waterway, which can lead to minor falls that are harmless under normal circumstances, but can have more serious consequences for you ladies if you're pregnant!
<\/span><\/p>\n

Wearing glasses is not a problem<\/strong> it just requires a bit of organisation in the canyon, as you'll need to remove them in the more eventful parts!
<\/span><\/p>\n

We don't need a medical certificate for canyoning, we trust you to tell us everything ? All this advice is for your own good!<\/p>\n
