LA JUNGLE BEARNAISE AU COEUR DE LARUNS<\/h3>\n

Le Valentin est le cours d’eau qui descend depuis la vall\u00e9e de Gourette pour rejoindre le gave d’Ossau au niveau de Laruns. C’est cette derni\u00e8re portion, juste avant que les deux rivi\u00e8res ne se rejoignent, qui sera notre terrain de jeu. A cet endroit, le Valentin a taill\u00e9 des gorges \u00e9troites et sinueuses dans les calcaires et les tufs qui composent le sol du bas de vall\u00e9e. Cela donne \u00e0 ce canyon un encaissement total, avec des parois sculpt\u00e9es et luxuriantes, on est transport\u00e9s dans une jungle aux couleurs tropicales\u00a0!<\/p>\n

VOUS AIMEZ LES GRANDS SAUTS TECHNIQUES\u00a0?<\/h3>\n

Une fois \u00e9quip\u00e9s des combinaisons n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne, la marche d’approche de ce<\/strong> canyon n’est pas des plus ardues<\/strong>… Elle s’effectue en… voiture\u00a0! Une minute de marche en descente nous m\u00e8ne ensuite au d\u00e9part du parcours. Apr\u00e8s un bon quart d’heure de marche nage dans la premi\u00e8re partie de la rivi\u00e8re, l’encaissement du canyon s’accentue<\/strong>, et les premi\u00e8res cascades<\/strong> apparaissent. C’est l’occasion de s’entra\u00eener \u00e0 sauter<\/strong>, d’environ 4 m\u00e8tres<\/strong>, pr\u00e9paration indispensable pour le deuxi\u00e8me saut qui avoisine les 9 m\u00e8tres<\/strong>. Si vous aimez sauter dans l’eau<\/strong>, ce parcours peut quasiment se r\u00e9aliser sans aide de la corde\u00a0! D’autres sauts entre 4 et 9 m\u00e8tres nous attendent, tout au long de ce majestueux d\u00e9fil\u00e9, o\u00f9 contemplation et action s’\u00e9quilibrent \u00e0 merveille.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nous finissons donc l’aventure au niveau de la confluence des deux gaves<\/strong>, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 le Valentin se jette dans le gave d’Ossau, o\u00f9 nous aurons laiss\u00e9 un v\u00e9hicule pour remonter chercher les voitures gar\u00e9es au d\u00e9part\u00a0!
