Who is the introductory ski touring course for?

This is for all skiers who want to discover the snow far from the ski resorts!

However, you must already have some experience of downhill skiing, be at ease on red or even black runs and if possible have a little off-piste experience in all snow conditions.

You also need to be in good shape for the climb(s), which may be as high as 800m of positive altitude difference (3 to 5 hours) on skis to fully enjoy the day.

We will learn to use the specific equipment for ski touring (skins, shovel, probe)

At the end of the day, you will be able to move around on skis on the way up, make a track, do conversions on the way up and use all the safety equipment.
